Open Thread: Donald Trump Sworn in as 45th President of the United States

Pledging to empower America’s “forgotten men and women,” Donald Trump was sworn in as the 45th president of the United States Friday, taking command of a deeply divided nation and ushering in an unpredictable era in Washington. His victory gives Republicans control of the White House for the first time in eight years.

Looking out over the crowd sprawled across the National Mall, Trump painted a bleak picture of the nation he now leads, lamenting crime, shuttered factories and depleted American leadership. He vowed to stir “new national pride,” bring jobs back to the United States, and “eradicate completely” Islamic terrorism.

“From this day forward, a new vision will govern our land. From this day forward, it’s going to be only, ‘America First,” Trump said in a 16-minute address, echoing one of the core messages of his improbable presidential campaign.

    DynCorp: Problem.

Once I rigged the old UHF antenna up on the house to pick up digital TV I watched the Inauguration of Trump and was very glad I did. I got to watch all the former war criminal globalists (Bush II (cracking jokes and looking very slack jawed): Cheney (in in his cowboy hat with a wild and crazy glazed look in his eye); the Clinton(s) who both looked very pissed off (and I swear the camera panned to them when Trump mentioned DRUGS) etc). The visuals were ASTOUNDIBNG.
Personally, I felt a great deal of glee imagining how they all had to cringe in their SHAME with every word that came out of Trump’s astounding POPULIST speech. The only former President or administration officials most likely not cringing were those of the former President Jimmy Carter administration.

All in all what I am left with is the effect of Trump’s speech. It was only a speech after all. But to see the globalists cringe with every word that came out of Trump’s mouth was in one word: PRICELESS.

oops misspelled astounding. Invented a new word.

I was astonished to see Cheney in an ambulatory state! I wonder if more organs have been swapped out…

I noticed that the Prince of Darkness missed the festivities. He’s cooling his heels in the ICU:

Funny. Prince of Darkness and his wife both “sick” indeed. They may both well be ill. Surely. But with their proclivities be out and about promoting the One World Government before the sun sets tomorrow. I think about the load of karma G.H.W. Bush has to deal with and wonder how he can even draw a breath and arise off of his pallet to face a new day. But wonders never cease. Once a Manchurian Candidate I guess you have no choice. Those people programming the Prince of Darkness should just cut the guy and his wife some slack and just turn the program off already. Heartless I be, but so is the computer program that have kept these people running.

Seeing Hillary and Bill’s faces made my day, this whole election has been heavy schadenfreude, watching neo-nazi liberals melt down is deeply gratifying.

My concern is the old law of “if it’s too good to be true..”

Erik Prince and Stephen Feinburg -> Owner of CCM (Cerberus Capital Mgmt) -> Owner of DynCorp. These are the people doing the Epstein/Haiti sex trafficking + organ harvesting operations, and have been associated with many of the recent mass shootings. Blackwater pretty much explains itself. Perhaps bringing these people in is smarter/easier than trying to oppose them. I’m not holding my breath, if nothing else the deck needs reshuffled badly.

Oik, I guess that was pretty mean what I wrote just now, mean no personal harm to Bush I. Just wish he would say he would take responsibility or defend himself for all the evil attributed to him before he passes. But wait! This world is not a Catholic Church confessional. So good luck and good night. And I hope I did not disturb any Cryptogon readers’ beautiful minds.

    @ Eileen
Your posts didn’t seem heartless. In fact, they reminded me of a poem, ‘The Great Mercy’, by Kathy Tynan.

Well, as an old-fashioned left-liberal, seeing what passes for the left in this country become war-mongering, neo-McCarthyite dupes of the Deep State is really hurting me mentally and emotionally. And it’s scaring me too, because I feel like we’re living in some kind of “Twilight Zone” scenario where everything has reversed itself. It has gotten to the point where I wouldn’t be entirely surprised if “the left” started holding demonstrations *in* *favor* of nuclear weapons instead of against them!

I’ve pretty much realized that group karma is playing itself out on a massive scale now and that whatever is going to happen will simply happen regardless of what I do or say. My personal belief is that we’re heading into some very weird and unstable times, so everybody please try and stay safe and on an even keel regardless of what goes down where you are living.
