Mikhail Gorbachev Says Uprisings Signal an Emerging New World Order

October 21st, 2011

Via: Lafayette College:

Gorbachev was referring to the series of uprisings around the world including the Occupy Wall Street demonstrations here in the United States. “The world needs goals that will bring people together,” he said. “Some people in the United States were pushing the idea of creating a global American empire, and that was a mistake from the start. Other people in America are now giving thought to the future of their country. The big banks, the big corporations, are still paying the same big bonuses to their bosses. Was there ever a crisis for them? . . . I believe America needs its own perestroika.”

“The entire world situation did not develop properly,” said Gorbachev. “We saw deterioration where there should have been positive movement. My friend the late Pope John Paul II said it best. He said, ‘We need a new world order, one that is more stable, more humane, and more just.’ Others, including myself, have spoken about a new world order, but we are still facing the problem of building such a world order…problems of the environment, of backwardness and poverty, food shortages…all because we do not have a system of global governance.”

    Way to play team ball Mickey G. It’s clear now why you weren’t assassinated for all the supposedly radical ideas you tossed in the ring.

    Clearly, the answer to all of our world’s power problems is to concentrate ALL the existing power even-more-densely at the summit of an even-more-distant federalized hierarchy — which also *just happens* to be shaped like a pyramid.

    I mean, it’s not like history has given us any clear-cut examples of what happens to ever-expanding empires when they get too big for their britches.

    Indeed. So transparent. Always blethering on about global governance when all the players currently at the helm are largely psychopaths. Quite possibly including Gorby. I wonder what kind of world that would bring? Certainly not a stable, humane or just one.

    It would be very nice to think that more people are slowly beginning to wake up to this kind of globalist nonsense.

  3. Hienlein said something like, “You can judge a civilization by the education its leaders have received.”

    We are being exposed to what doesn’t work, in order that, when the Kingdom of God is presented, each of us can embrace it on the merits of self-government under God. This is the new order.

    “No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest.”

    @messianicdruid,

    Question did you ever attend Catholic Schools? Or attend a Catholic Church? I don’t think so by what you say here. Sorry, I find your comment offensive. I’m still trying to deal with the Catholic Church long after I’ve ever attended it.

    I know this is rude, but the “Lord” right now for me is a fire breathing, black smock robe wearing man and/or nun with many agenda’s they “had on” for me. And all the time they were doing their “thing” they were saying the Rosary, the Lord’s Prayer, or quoting the Bible in their sermons. These thoughts and fears are still with me from over 50 years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wonder in the night, did they rape me, and am I blocking it out? Why am I still so SCARED? It doesn’t make sense to me why I still over-react to “god said this, that and the other thing.”
    And that quote. Sorry, what’s that all about? When we don’t teach other anymore we are screwed as a species. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

  5. @Eileen,

    I can assure you that they are misrepresenting the God I serve, but I also know that will not help much.

    The resolution you seek is available. Can you forgive God for withholding it a while longer?

    @Eileen

    You have probably considered this before, but just in case you haven’t: There are therapists who specialize in situations like you have described. If there is underlying trauma, it may be worth trying to understand what happened.

    Funny, according to the tags chosen by our fearless moderator, I thought this thread was aimed at that silly old clown Gorbachev the Globalist…

    …and yet we find ourselves discussing one individual’s personal difficulties with the dark edifice that is the Catholic Church writ large through the lens of scary schoolgirl memories.

    Simple personal psychosis being acted out or a carefully calculated re-direct?

    You decide.
