I’m not particularly in the pro-gun camp. I think guns are pretty symbolic these days if you read about the weapons the empire has. Of course, one can still defend their homes…

‘Darkness At Noon’ is one of the best works of literature of the 20th century. IMHO, it should be required reading at the high school level. I was fortunate enough to pick it from a listing of approved books in a college literature course (having never heard of it). Good call, Kevin.

It looks like the bullet glanced his left leg, below the hip. If he had taken the .40S&W round closer to the center of his leg (into the muscle and bone), he would have gone down immediately. The guy standing against the wall on the right side of the screen is lucky to be alive.
