Petition to Eliminate Armed Guards for the President, Vice-President, and Their Families, and Establish Gun Free Zones Around Them

Gun Free Zones are supposed to protect our children, and some politicians wish to strip us of our right to keep and bear arms. Those same politicians and their families are currently under the protection of armed Secret Service agents. If Gun Free Zones are sufficient protection for our children, then Gun Free Zones should be good enough for politicians.

What is your impression on the proposed assault rifle ban in the U.S. and the existing one in NZ? Any “freedom” lost?

Your question is one of apples and oranges.

Unlike the U.S., NZ wasn’t established with the core principal that its people should be able to put up armed resistance to an out of control government. In the NZ context, there is no long standing political purpose for individual ownership of guns. In NZ, gun ownership is tightly controlled and really is about hunting, pest control and sporting purposes.

In the U.S., antigun politicians try to trick people into thinking that the purpose of the 2nd Amendment is to allow for people to have guns for hunting and sporting purposes, etc. which is absolute nonsense in the U.S. context, and Americans by the millions know it. They might not know much else, in general, but there it is.

Now, what has the access to all of that firepower done to prevent the collapse of the U.S. into a ghoulish fascist state, complete with mass surveillance, private prison labor and arbitrary assassinations etc.?

    Nothing!

Look through the tens of thousands of entries in my archives — it’s a fucking nightmare. This situation is a testament to the incredible power of social engineering. How can so many heavily armed people be so severely raped without resisting? This is the most awesome and terrifying PSYOP success story that ever was. For whatever reason, though, .gov now apparently wants to rein in the guns. I honestly don’t see why, unless, something really, really big is coming.

Anyway, the gun situation in the U.S. is a genie that has long since been let out of the bottle. If .gov bans some class of weapons, there are still hundreds of millions of them already out there. Everyone knows that any attempt to confiscate them will… not go well.

We should totally go the other way. Obviously (duh!) the answer is to give guns to everybody. After all, guns don’t kill people. And the only thing that can stop a bad guy with a gun, is a good guy with a gun.

having more guns can only be a good thing. We shouldn’t stop at just having good cowboys guarding our kids in all schools. We should arm the children too. Then, the next time the President, or any politician, appears in public to speak, the spooks should be handing out guns to everyone in the crowd, so that we can better protect them in case someone tries something. The next time I go to watch a movie, I want a complimentary 9mm with my popcorn, and I’ll feel so much safer knowing that everyone else alongside me in the dark has at least one lethal weapon, just in case.

We could do away with the cops, too, as they can’t be expected to be everywhere at once, whereas We The People are. So if I see you driving badly down the Interstate, I can draw and pop out your wheels as my good citizen deed for the day.

I am not in favor of “giving” everybody or anybody a gun as williamspd proposes.

I have found that the people I have come into contact with that are “against guns” are the first people to get a deep feeling of power from holding one, and it puts a smile on their face. And without exception those people, in my personal experience, immediately point the damn thing at someone’s face.
Of course they have no intention of pulling the trigger, they just want to point it at someone’s face and then completely become mystified when everyone around them freaks out and yells at them to put the gun down.

I have seen it time and time again in my own experiences.

And it doesn’t even have to be firearms. BB guns too. Or even rubber band guns.

I was at a bar about a year ago and this guy had a rubber band rifle. I saw it being handed to a friend of mine who absolutely hates guns and I thought “MISTAKE”. Three seconds later this anti-gunner says my name and I turn to her and then she point blank shoots me in the eye.

Anecdotal I know, but when you see something time and time again there is no denying that there is truth there.

I don’t want to go as far as Savage and say that certain people have a mental disorder, but I truly believe there is some sort of disconnect in their minds.
    Here is a good example….

“We’re an awfully fearful country considering that, unlike most nations, we’ve never been invaded,” he said. “Why on earth would we need 300 million guns in our homes?”

Or here is an inspiring pic of Feinstein muzzle sweeping a crowd or reporters with a fully automatic AK47 with a 75 round magazine with, get this, her finger on the trigger.
