Run from the Cure: Concentrated, Full THC Hemp Oil Reportedly Cures Cancer and Other Diseases

March 6th, 2008

Run from the Cure is an astonishing little documentary. I have no first hand experience with this, nor do I know anyone who has tried it. The documentary, however, is very compelling and fits in with familiar alternative health themes on Cryptogon. Check it out for yourself and make up your own mind!

My favorite part is that the lead researcher-activist-healer, Rick Simpson, was giving the concentrated oil away for free. All he cares about is helping people who are in pain, dying, suffering, etc. Well, you can guess what happened…

I strongly recommend checking this out.

RUN FROM THE CURE – The Rick Simpson Story (7-Part Series)

HEMP OIL IS NOT THE SAME AS “HEMP SEED OIL”. Although hemp seed oil is extremely nutritious, it does not contain the high concentrations of THC needed to cure cancers.

The true story of hemp, as told by Rick Simpson, the man who cured cancer with hemp oil. Please visit www.phoenixtears.ca for a vast collection of hemp research and hidden truth about “the miracle medicine”!

I have worked closely with Mr. Rick Simpson on the documentary RUN FROM THE CURE: The Rick Simpson Story for several months, and I can tell you that you will never meet a more honest and caring man in your lifetime than Ricky Logan Simpson. He is a true Canadian Hero!

Please feel free to promote this video for the good of all mankind – it seems the best things in life might really be free after all. —Christian Laurette

Based on what I know of medical marijuana, I’m already convinced, but I’ll watch the docu. when I can. Really, maryjane is something you should be able to buy at Walgreen’s or CVS. (There should be age-restrictions that require showing an ID, however. Cannabis is a mind-altering substance with abuse-potential, as we all know from those unfortunates who lead lives of “reefer lameness”, so we don’t want junior-high-school kids being able to smoke themselves into bloody oblivion on the stuff.)

  2. Kevin says:

This is not about smoking it.

Please, watch the documentary before commenting.

I watched the 7 parts of the show on YouTube. It is moving, to say the least. We humans are definitely kept in a box. I read that Rick Simpson is leaving Canada, moving to another country. I wish him well in finding a place where the government does not want its heel on his neck, as I do not believe such a place exists. It’s frustrating as hell, and I wonder if the better choice is not to just try to fly below the radar on one’s personal choices in life. Rick Simpson is a brave and noble man.

i’m going to watch the video in a second here. i was just itching to comment beforehand but wasn’t sure why -and it dawned on me, the video may well be immaculately reasonable about the benefits of the oil -but all the more futilely so in this era of unreason.

whatever. i was tickled by the title, not for it’s humor but what it suggests the article may hold -about cannabis. (still not sure if the video’s more about it or mr. simpson. i’ll go watch it nowm and find out.)

  6. Zuma says:

thank you for posting this, kevin.
    pretty overwhelming. beyond reasonably. 🙂

there has been much about cannabis in the news of late, but nothing i thought substantial enough to warrant propagation. this does.
alternet’s drugreporter tag holds a slew of these articles -they’ve been pounding the beat hard. i receive their email newsletter daily. they had, as far as i know, nothing on rick simpson. i am so surprised at that that i can only surmise i’ve missed it somehow.

i have a site to now update:

    keep up the great work.
i owe ya a big donation.
    and i know it.

No, its about eating extract. This has already been studied, on humans as well, and it works for certain kinds cancers. New Scientist has reported on it on a couple of occasions.

The active compound in marijuana, THC, can slow the growth of lung tumours and reduce the spread of the cancer in mice, a preliminary study reveals.

Human lung cancer tumours grew less than half as fast in mice that received moderate doses of the compound, the researchers reveal. They hope that drugs mimicking the apparent anti-cancer effects of tetrahydrocanabinol (THC) could one day help treat patients. The team strongly discourage people from self-medicating by smoking marijuana, noting that doing so could potentially encourage tumour growth.”

One team of researchers has also noticed that cannabidiol seems to work with Mad cow disease. Cannabidiol is another major component, in addition to tetrahydrocannabinol, THC.

So I believe this is not just hot air. Im downloading the documentary now, thanks Kevin for this!

Very interesting that taking this medicine in the form of concentrated cannibinoid oil means that the medicine-user does not actually get “high” off it, providing one only takes the amount necessary for a therapeutic effect.

I personally found this very gripping and upsetting, because I struggle with a disorder that the medical establishment refuses to recognize known as systemic candidiasis. I don’t have it as badly as some unfortunate people do, I should point out, but I do have symptoms I have to go to pretty extraordinary lengths to keep under control. This cannibinoid oil could very well be a silver bullet for keeping my disorder under control or maybe even curing it entirely.

But for myself and other people who could be helped by it, it may as well be interstellar-travel technology for all the likelihood that any of us will ever be able to use this beautiful gift from the Divinity (sorry atheists, but if this hemp-flower oil can do what I saw in this documentary, that’s all the “proof” I need of a conscious, loving Creator). And all because this world is controlled by an evil patriarchy that worships money and power.

I’ve been doing psychological work to get over my lifelong tendency to wallow in feelings of victimhood because that kind of thinking is just no good. But I think I just happened upon a bit of a setback because this really makes me feel majorly victimized. I’m sorry, I know how unbecoming that is, but that’s just how it all makes me feel.

You would actually get high from it as well, at least in the beginning. But you get used to it and the euphoria will lessen, and after a little getting used to it, you can function quite normally.

I would imagine you would take quite substantial amounts for something like cancer. They dont mention the amounts in the film, thou even a little bit of that oil is very potent. I dont know how well it will be digested, since it isnt mixed with any other oil, and THC is fat soluble, as are the other active cannabinoids.

That is why traditionally cannabis extracts are made with oil, margarine or butter, and then eaten, baked into something for example. Or boiled in fatty milk, or dissolved in alcohol (Green Dragon).

When smoking it, lots of carcinogens are produced, and also most of the valuable ingredients burn up, and only a small part goes into the bloodstream. I think its effects and solubility may be better in fat-based mediums. Alcohol isnt the best idea, because then you would also need to intake alcohol, even if a small amount only.

Also Ital Rastafaris have always recommended eating it, and not smoking, recognizing the harms from smoke.
