What Every American Should be Made to Learn About the IG Torture Report

The fact that we are not really bothered any more by taking helpless detainees in our custody and (a) threatening to blow their brains out, torture them with drills, rape their mothers, and murder their children; (b) choking them until they pass out; (c) pouring water down their throats to drown them; (d) hanging them by their arms until their shoulders are dislocated; (e) blowing smoke in their face until they vomit; (f) putting them in diapers, dousing them with cold water, and leaving them on a concrete floor to induce hypothermia; and (g) beating them with the butt of a rifle — all things that we have always condemend as “torture” and which our laws explicitly criminalize as felonies (“torture means. . . the threat of imminent death; or the threat that another person will imminently be subjected to death, severe physical pain or suffering . . .”) — reveals better than all the words in the world could how degraded, barbaric and depraved a society becomes when it lifts the taboo on torturing captives.

IN my world, this is a result of Dick Cheney at the helm. Thank you.
My feelings about this criminal almost had me disbarred from posting on this site. But sheesh. That freakin nut job had the world by the balls.
We’ll come and take you away ha, ha, hee, hee for talking.
    Hah.
And now that’s all done what are we supposed to say?
Sorry that we didn’t stop the BIG DICK?
I still think of the film from the time of Hurricane Katrina when the guy in the background said his famous words to the Dick as he groused about even having to make an appearance:
    Fuck you!

It was a matter of me allowing certain comments to go up, which would have gotten us both in deep shit, or not.

The topic of those comments is the main reason why I have to read through each one. Certain things will result in contact with the authorities and headaches. Guaranteed. I’m not interested in allowing that stuff on here.

    No problem Kevin.
I’m trying to hold myself out as an example is all. Don’t say things on this site that will bring the TPB down on Cryptogon.
Sure wish and am hoping for a NEW TPB that will put Cheney on trial in a Nuremburg scenario.
Torture-smorture. As I stamp my mental feet like a child having a tantrum, I’m mad about Cheney. Really mad. I don’t think he should get out of dodge with no crime etc on this one. But that’s just me. Nuff said.
