President-elect Donald Trump shocked Washington Thursday by nominating Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to be his secretary of Health and Human Services.

The latest appointment to a rapidly growing cabinet and West Wing packed with loyalists new and old immediately sent shockwaves through the public health sector given Kennedy’s reputation as an anti-vaxxer who has pushed conspiracy theories about a number of health-related topics.

The 70-year-old husband of actress Cheryl Hines has railed against processed foods, vowed to remove fluoride from public water systems and suggested COVID was engineered to be ‘ethnically targeted.’

‘I am thrilled to announce Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as The United States Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS),’ Trump posted on X.

    Good?
Just wait until they take you to one of RFKs “wellness camps” – concentration camps for re-educating you. If that is your definition of good, maybe you should volunteer?

I have a difficult time understanding how you people here think putting immigrants (who do 40-50% of farm labor in the US) into concentration camps, to be deported – just like Hitler was going to deport the jews until they realized its pretty hard to move them anywhere and it is just much easier to kill them all.

Sexual minorities, prescription drug users, the enemy within aka anyone who disagrees with them – camp, camp, camp.

I still remember the time when this site was a place where people were worried about the government imprisoning people in concentration camps. I guess you changed?

Soil health = human health. Bring in Amish soil/crop scientist John Kempf!

AG would have been poetic. But Kennedy in this role is beautiful to see. Are they throwing us the keys to a burning house?

  5. NH says:

Definitely entering a burning house, with trunks of dynamite in a dozen bedrooms.

This interview with Dr Jack Kruse—dentist turned neurosurgeon turned cutting-edge molecular biologist, seems entirely relevant to this posting.

He talks a lot about the assassination of Bobby’s uncle in the first half, and a lot about how light is intimate with biology in the second:
