Aluminum Bucket Opener

I was just talking with someone about disaster preparations, and mentioned my aluminum bucket opener.

We store a lot of food in 5 gallon plastic buckets and that opener is a nice tool to have, especially on buckets with very stiff lids. My sons think it’s not manly to use the bucket opener and apply about 400% more force than is necessary, getting the lid off in about a second and cracking it in the process.

Anyway… We get there in the end, one way or another.

    I think you really want to have a tool like that handy, just in case you find yourself afflicted with an illness or an injury that makes it difficult to be as manly as one would like to be.
