Trump Executive Orders on Immigration This Afternoon
January 25th, 2017I don’t know what category to use for this post.
I’m actually in favor of the wall, and I think that Trump is acting responsibly by securing the border. Sovereign states secure their borders. This is first-day-of-class political science. Nothing controversial.
The U.S., however, looks like a failed state when it comes to the border with Mexico. The current situation is beyond ridiculous.
It’s treasonous.

U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to sign executive orders starting on Wednesday that include a temporary ban on most refugees and a suspension of visas for citizens of Syria and six other Middle Eastern and African countries, say congressional aides and immigration experts briefed on the matter.
Trump, who tweeted that a “big day” was planned on national security on Wednesday, is expected to ban for several months the entry of refugees into the United States, except for religious minorities escaping persecution, until more aggressive vetting is in place.
Another order will block visas being issued to anyone from Syria, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen, said the aides and experts, who asked not to be identified.
In his tweet late on Tuesday, Trump said: “Big day planned on NATIONAL SECURITY tomorrow. Among many other things, we will build the wall!”
The border security measures probably include directing the construction of a border wall with Mexico and other actions to cut the number of illegal immigrants living in the United States.
The sources say the first of the orders will be signed on Wednesday. With Trump considering measures to tighten border security, he could turn his attention to the refugee issue later this week.
Frankly, considering the situation, I’m amazed this hasn’t been done sooner. I did a presentation about illegal immigration/nafta/voluntary DNA testing of immigrants awhile ago for school. If you look at the crime stats:
Illegal Immigration Crime Stats
• Between 2008 and 2014, 40% of all murder convictions in Florida were criminal aliens. In New York it was 34% and Arizona 17.8%.
• During those years, criminal aliens accounted for 38% of all murder convictions in the five states of California, Texas, Arizona, Florida and New York, while illegal aliens constitute only 5.6% of the total population in those states.
• That 38% represents 7,085 murders out of the total of 18,643.
• According to the analysis conducted by the Texas Department of Public Safety, foreign aliens committed 611,234 unique crimes in Texas from 2008 to 2014, including thousands of homicides and sexual assaults.
• Despite the veritable crime wave, sanctuary cities continue to allow illegal immigrants to walk the streets with impunity.
Oh wait, I mean securing your borders and acting in your nation’s sovereign best interest is rayciss and evil (see Putin). Give me a break, when you have people getting deported 9 times and still coming back, the immigration system is a complete joke.
Also:
Amnesty
• Undocumented workers could come forward immediately and receive probationary legal status.
• Undocumented immigrants may adjust status to lawful permanent residence once they pay $5,000 in fees and fines and their head of household returns to their home country.
• People under age 30 who were brought to the U.S. as minors could receive their green cards after three years, rather than eight.
• Undocumented farm workers who can demonstrate they have worked 150 hours or three years in agriculture can apply for green cards.
• Processing of green cards for holders of Z-visas would begin after clearing an existing backlog, which is expected to take 8 to 13 years.
Don’t get me started on unemployment, after deep research, the real number of working age people out of work, is between 22.3% and 35%.
Build that gatdang wall!
@Duros Those are some amazing statistics!
Seriously and out of curiosity, I wonder how many of those illegal aliens that committed crimes were from countries that the U.S. has bombed to pieces in their never ending wars – e.g. (from the article)”visas for citizens of Syria and six other Middle Eastern and African countries.” In my HMO Trump is only doing a clean up job. While a good step by Trump, I think the angry, stampeding “horses” have already left the stable and his actions are going to stem the flow of those seeking revenge.
I also do not believe that all immigrants come to the U.S. to wreak revenge against this country, or to harm the Indigenous Peoples. I would not be alive today if both my maternal and paternal grandparents did not decide to come to the U.S. in steerage to escape the Hungarian Wars or the grinding poverty in what is now Slovakia (which is a thriving country now – have family there I have contacts with). But all of my family immigrating here had to have a “sponsor.” Someone who would be held to account for the actions of the immigrant. Where did that policy go?
Very few illegal aliens come as refugees, since refugees are considered legal migrants, and up to now have been supported and funded by taxpayer money (lodging, income, etc.)
Those stats are specifically for people that have either snuck in or been smuggled into the country or overstayed visas. (illegals), refugees, legal immigrants etc are not included in these stats.
The refugee thing is a separate but similar problem, but is state sanctioned.
With such a high unemployment rate, I think there needs to be extremely strict criteria, and a massive reduction of immigration until we deal with these issues (and America’s own host of problems).
This whole refugee thing is an attack tactic, and is designed to dilute/destroy western culture. Soros is a big player in this “strategy.” Follow the money (arms, oil), who is funding ISIS, middle eastern instability etc. Also, most of these refugees are not from Syria, they are coming from countries in North Africa, etc, which have little to do with the satellite wars.
The 4+ horsemen of oil have been riding high for decades now. They are importing terrorism, sharia law, and an incompatible culture. Take a look at France.
All immigrants are not bad, but with a 23%+ unemployment rate, how can the US justify any of this?
Unemployment is necessary to keep wages low, this is understood since the early days of industrialization. In other words, unemployment is desired by industry, it is not an accident. I don’t know about the US, but in France immigrants actually bring more to the state finances than they take, even though their unemployment rate is slightly higher.

Here’s a 2014 OECD report : https://www.oecd.org/policy-briefs/PB-Fiscal-Economic-Impact-Migration-May-2014.pdf
The fiscal impact of immigration is generally neutral across OECD countries.

On crime issues, what are the statistics on the victims ? I’d guess you’ll find the same social demographics there.
Build walls motherfuckers. It’s surely good to warm up the spot.
