Texas Requires Cancer Vaccine for Girls

Gov. Rick Perry ordered Friday that schoolgirls in Texas must be vaccinated against the sexually transmitted virus that causes cervical cancer, making Texas the first state to require the shots.
The girls will have to get Merck & Co.’s new vaccine against strains of the human papillomavirus, or HPV, that are responsible for most cases of cervical cancer.
Merck is bankrolling efforts to pass laws in state legislatures across the country mandating it Gardasil vaccine for girls as young as 11 or 12. It doubled its lobbying budget in Texas and has funneled money through Women in Government, an advocacy group made up of female state legislators around the country.

Perry has several ties to Merck and Women in Government. One of the drug company’s three lobbyists in Texas is Mike Toomey, his former chief of staff. His current chief of staff’s mother-in-law, Texas Republican state Rep. Dianne White Delisi, is a state director for Women in Government.

Texas allows parents to opt out of inoculations by filing an affidavit stating that he or she objected to the vaccine for religious or philosophical reasons.

I’ve seen this story spun as a slap in the face to the Christian Reconstructionist efforts to stop it based on THEIR interpretation that it will increase teen sex.
Now you have pointed out the obvious monetary influences, but I still have to side with the drug companies because it’s pissing off the religious nutjobs!! The religious nutjobs are really the biggest threat to America.

This sets a dangerous precedent; corrupt politicians in cahoots with corrupt pharmaceutical drug pushers, making it a state law to force drugs onto society.
Merck & Co stand to make billions in profits on this vaccine now being forced on unwitting schoolgirls. (interesting that boys are not required to have the vaccine, although they carry and pass the virus to girls)
It is a new vaccine with side effects, that even Merck & Co admits to, although downplays as “nothing to worry about.”
Merck & Co has admitted to not knowing how long the vaccination will work, nor if the initial $600 shots will even work. Merck & Co, in effect, is using schoolgirls as guinea pigs in this drug study.
With the blessings of politicians, especially Perry of Texas , who have essentially been bribed with payoffs from Merck & Co., this is a new low in the unbridled greed of pharmaceutical drug pushers and politicians.
Beware of those stating “it’s for your own good.”
It seems the Elite Baby Boomers and their Gen. X cohorts are attempting to sterilize Generation Y. If you’re a morally-unconstrained power-brokering member of either of those groups, this is smart policy, especially if you are fully aware of the U.S.’s current dilapidated economic condition, and the guaranteed worsening of that condition in the short, medium, and long term.
In a future resource-deprived environment, The Baby Boomer Generation and Generation X would be in possession of the vast majority of the USA’s scant available resources; they could effectively use their possession of these resources to organize, manage, and control Generation Y, and, in a society undergoing cataclysmic financial, economic, political, and social change, I think it’s safe to assume that the least wise and least experienced—Generation Y—would adhere to the tyranny of the older, more experienced, wiser members from The Baby Boomer Generation and Generation X, especially if they were continuously made aware that their access to scant resources and, therefore, their very survival, depended on their obedience.
However, if the Generation Y’ers had offspring, they would be less inclined to accept dictatorial mandates that hurt their children and more inclined to engage in war with the elder generations in order to procure the elders’ resources for their children’s well-being. I think the elder elite classes are attempting to ensure such rebellious tendencies have a minimal chance of manifesting in the future.
I think They’re getting ready to take the first of many future Bioweapons-Related Kill Shots; here’s some inconclusive evidence:
a. Propagandizing PBS documentary, entitled, “The Living Weapon,” which disseminates the following meme: “Our experimentation with bioweapons has been stopped; however, by engaging in such research, we opened Pandora’s Box, which, as you know, once opened can never be closed…and if you get suspicious about the true origin of any plague in the future, the government–Their second most-hated archenemy after the Innovative Class–is the culprit.”

c. Bloomberg.com propaganda piece entitled, “Bio Weapons Spurned by Hitler Were Tested on Adventists: TV”
d. New H5N1 outbreak in Britain, in which the vet who helped cull the infected turkeys, is now suffering from a respiratory illness, which has the potential to be the long-awaited extremely contagious form of the virus (See “Bird Flu in UK – One worker being tested for H5N1 virus – Massive Culling and Restrictions in Place” at bestsyndication.com)
