American Citizens Can Be Arrested As Terrorists On Home Soil And Held Indefinitely Without Trial

Barack Obama has abandoned a commitment to veto a new security law that allows the military to indefinitely detain without trial American terrorism suspects arrested on US soil who could then be shipped to Guantánamo Bay.
Human rights groups accused the president of deserting his principles and disregarding the long-established principle that the military is not used in domestic policing. The legislation has also been strongly criticised by libertarians on the right angered at the stripping of individual rights for the duration of “a war that appears to have no end”.
The law, contained in the defence authorisation bill that funds the US military, effectively extends the battlefield in the “war on terror” to the US and applies the established principle that combatants in any war are subject to military detention.

The legislation’s supporters in Congress say it simply codifies existing practice, such as the indefinite detention of alleged terrorists at Guantánamo Bay. But the law’s critics describe it as a draconian piece of legislation that extends the reach of detention without trial to include US citizens arrested in their own country.
“It’s something so radical that it would have been considered crazy had it been pushed by the Bush administration,” said Tom Malinowski of Human Rights Watch. “It establishes precisely the kind of system that the United States has consistently urged other countries not to adopt. At a time when the United States is urging Egypt, for example, to scrap its emergency law and military courts, this is not consistent.”
What I see happening mirrors totalitarian governments of South and Central America, Asia, Eastern Europe, Nazi Germany, and the Soviet Union. Young people, in the name of patriotism, will be issued fancy uniforms (today desert camouflage, yesterday riding breeches, high boots and armbands) and told that their parents are the enemy. Children will spy on their own parents and families and lead their own to the slaughter. Of course, all these young people will think they will share in the spoils of treachery. History, however, shows us what happened in Germany to the Brownshirts and the purges by Stalin of those who thought they were part of his inner circle as well as former friends and family of Saddam Hussein and many others. America is doomed. There is really no difference between Democrat and Republican, Liberal and Conservative. I never thought I would be saying this but, to quote Rev. Jeremiah Wright, “God damn America.”

Gun sales hit an all-time holiday high
‘Tis the season to stuff stockings with … guns?

This Christmas, stockings should be hung by the chimney with extra care, because there might be an assault weapon inside.
Holiday gun sales are setting records this year, according to national indicators and firearm dealers, with shoppers snapping up Colts and AR-15s with a fever usually reserved for Elmo and Transformers.
Industry watchers say the spike is due in part to better marketing by gun shop owners jumping on the Black Friday and Cyber Monday marketing bandwagon.
The goal, they say, is simple: Entice shoppers to drop the fruit basket and grab a Glock.
“Basically, the idea is to get the ladies out of the mall and into my shop,” said Randy Glauber, owner of Glauber’s Sports in Carrollton, Ky.
In November, licensed gun dealers requested 1.53 million federal background checks for prospective gun buyers, breaking the record for the month set in 2008.
According to Federal Bureau of Investigation data, the number of such checks done on this year’s Black Friday, the traditional kick-off of the holiday shopping frenzy, went from the previous high in 2008 of 97,848 to 129,166 — a whopping 32 percent increase.
Another hot stocking stuffer: Personal defense items like pepper sprays and stun guns, with one of the country’s biggest manufacturers saying sales are up significantly over last year.
Such numbers have put a lot of extra bang in cash registers at firearm retailers like Kentucky Gun Company in Bardstown, Ky., where crowds of gun shoppers contributed to the state’s 203,683 gun background checks last month, the highest in the nation.
“Our phones have been jammed. We’ve had so many cars in the parking lot, they’re overflowing into one of my neighbor’s lots,” said owner Patrick Hayden. “I’m going to have to go over and give them a holiday ham.”
Hayden said strong sales through the year have spiked in recent weeks, with a 50 to 60 percent jump in store and Internet holiday season sales over last year. For the first time, the business gambled on coast-to-coast marketing, buying two one-page ads in a national gun magazine timed for the Christmas season. more …

One of the positive things I see happening is that US Veterans are beginning to see they have been sold out by those who sent them to Iraq and Afghanistan. Hopefully, they will draw the line when they are asked to massacre American citizens in the “Homeland.” We can hope, but I wouldn’t count on it. They have been well indoctrinated using a false sense of “patriotism” by the Power Elite. Will enough of them come to their senses in a sort of “critical mass” in time to stop the treachery? Only time will tell.
We would hope that U.S. soldiers would have enough sense not to fire on American citizens, but this is of course the whole reason for the dumbing-down of our youth, so that they will have no qualms about blasting even their own mother.
This must be the reason behind the welfare state which encourages the creation of lots of “welfare babies” – in order to produce plenty of fresh meat for the grinder.
If we just could convince our youth not to join the military, but of course the pay is just too enticing, and the video games have them all prepped for the job.

Same as it ever was…
Part of the job of the US Military in its training and indoctrination is to get the young recruits to reject and abandon any sense of morality and decency which was instilled in them by family and community. Today, the military is getting into the schools to start this process even before these young people reach high school. The Hitler Young and various other programs of the Nazi regime used this tactic to great effect. Other totalitarian regimes have also used it over the years. Will enough sense of decency remain in these young recruits so they will not participate in massacres of their own American citizens? Perhaps. But time will tell.
i figure this wont be an issue for non-muslim american citizens untill after a big false flag. undoubtedly blamed on some desperately poor union member or grieving victim of health care failure. maybe an OWS terror cell.
or people could just start disappearing in the night, but thats been happening consistently for decades, so maybe something new and exciting. maybe plague victims would fall into this category, or xeno-parasites or some-such nonsense? anybodys guess is potentially legit this late in the game.

Prez Barack what’s his name might as well be either Dick Cheney or George Bush II but with his face, voice, persona just covered with a light color of shoeblack. Sheesh, were is his real being, and when did they transform him, or when did he allow himself to be transformed into the newest, latest, and greatest version of the Manchurian candidate? The guy has lost his soul to the machine of politics, or else it was stolen from him one dark and stormy night.
My Sympathies to his wife and children and to this country of ours. I have no doubt we will rebel big time, and thrive in the aftermath.
