JAPAN ESTABLISHES 10KM EVACUATION ZONE AROUND THE DAINI NUCLEAR POWER PLANT

[3:07 a.m. ET Wednesday, 4:07 p.m. Wednesday in Tokyo] As a safety precaution, the Japanese government is now telling people living within a 10-kilometer radius of the Daini plant, the second nuclear power plant in Fukushima, to evacuate.
The Daini plant, which has four reactors, has reported fluctuating temperatures at its suppression pools. The Daini plant’s reactors have been stopped, and there has been no radioactivity leakage so far.
i had assumed there was a 10km evacuation zone around Fukushima II (Daini) for three days. All the maps they show on TV have both plants with the 20km and 30km circles around Fukushima I (Daiichi) and a 10km circle around Daini.
Daini is about 20 km from Daiichi anyway, so at least within the 30km zone.
Where the hell are you?
I don’t have the information you do. What are you doing to protect yourself?
Get away. As far and as fast as you can.
And no kidding, if you don’t have iodine tablets at the very least get some tin foil and wrap it around your neck and head. NO KIDDING. In the worst case scenario, which I think you are in, at least the tin foil will reflect SOME of the radiation.
There is some serious shit hitting the fan there.
I really hope you can get away from Dodge as fast and as far as possible.
