Senator Bankster does say something interesting here, to the effect that the internet poses the “number one threat to the homeland”. What he means, of course, by “homeland” is not the physical territory called the “The United States of America”, nor that collection of people called “Americans” with that territory (nor, certainly, any of the millions of people who are not State-certified “Americans”, yet still reside in the territory.
What Sen. Bankster really means here is that the internet poses the greatest threat imaginable to The Powers That Be through their instrument, the American State.
