U.S. MAY LOSE IT’S ‘AAA’ RATING

November 12th, 2008

Can you hear me now?

Via: CNBC:

The United States may be on course to lose its ‘AAA’ rating due to the large amount of debt it has accumulated, according to Martin Hennecke, senior manager of private clients at Tyche.

“The U.S. might really have to look at a default on the bankruptcy reorganization of the present financial system” and the bankruptcy of the government is not out of the realm of possibility, Hennecke said.

“In the United States there is already a funding crisis, and they will have to sell a lot more bonds next year to fund the bailout packages that have already been signed off,” Hennecke told CNBC.

In order to solve or stem the economic slowdown, Hennecke suggested the US would have to radically reduce spending across all sectors and recall all its troops from around the world.

As for a stimulus package, there is not much of an industry left to stimulate back into life, Hennecke said.

That sounds reasonable, but they could also create, like, five trillion new dollars through Fed-Treasury credit issues, cutting the dollar in half but paying all liabilities in about five seconds. What would Jesus the meth addict do?

@ pdugan “What would Jesus the meth addict do?”

hahahahaha. He’d bomb the Iranians “back to the Stone Age” as part of a new stimulus package.

    Imagine my shock.
That the U.S. EVEN has a triple A rating now s a result of collusion among rating agencies like Morningstar or whoever else has had their heads up their keisters re “ratings.”
U.S. Treasuries. Really what an effing joke.
THERE IS NO VALUE BEHIND TREASURIES. THE VALUE IS IN THE EYES OF THE HOLDER.
These ratings agencies are part of the debt bubble club. Their heads along with many others will be withering on a pike someday in the “news.” Right.Sure. No accountability required. Double plus good. Part of the house of cards, these ratings agencies.
I don’t believe in the white Jesus with blond hair and blue eyes that is on the prayer cards. Wow if Jesus was born in Palenstine, imagine that! He’d not be a white skinned blue eyed dude.
Christ (!) he’d be of a darky skin. And god bless amerika, he came from Palestine where all those terrorists want to (snark) overcome their oppressors (god smite me is it the Jews of Israel?)
This world is really effed up. Especially when the origin of religion card is played. But no matter who plays it, its okay to bomb that world to pieces.
    He’d never be on meth.
But no matter, yes we WILL bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb IRAN if its in the interests of the MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX.
Douche bags all of them. A douche bag by definition serves a very limited purpose. Irrigate the offended area with enough beneficial force to clean out its, well problems.
There has been enough douching now. These who propound more force no longer know what it means to cleanse for healing.
And when the U.S. loses its triple a rating, wow, dontcha think its deserved to be brought down a few more pegs?
Like we have been STEWARDS of wealth. What an effing joke.
