The RAR Energia Gravity Motor
September 11th, 2013When one follows “free energy” inventors, a lot of times, the path leads to madness.
The machines in question (that don’t work, by the way) are usually very small—table top scale—bicycle tires and JB Weld sorts of things.
Knowing all of this, I nearly fell out of my chair when I looked at what RAR Energia has built in Brazil. That thing is about two stories tall, and must have cost a minimum of hundreds of thousands of dollars to build.
Take a look: RAR Energia [Be sitting down for this one.]
Now, I ask you…
The materials alone are more than $1MM. Add labour and the project is closer to $5-10MM
Not that I have specific creds here, but I have been an engineer for almost 25 years now, and have worked in South America at length. I know there are bonkers rich people down there who would follow any dream that can be sold if they thought they could make money. I would bet anything that this is a scheme to use a contractor to bilk a rich person out of his fun money.
It’s a work of genius by the contractor.
I think it’s quite cool looking as art. I’ve seen worse 1% for art projects that cost more than that. All in all I think there are so many bad things that could be done with that kind of money to make this seem kind of fun.
“I knew I could do it. So I did it.”
We just need to see it running – and Richard Gere walking through it.
