‘Clinton Vows to Thwart New Soviet Union’

December 7th, 2012

Wow, Clinton vows to thwart new Soviet Union:

The US is trying to prevent Russia from recreating a new version of the Soviet Union under the ruse of economic integration, Hillary Clinton warned on Thursday.

“There is a move to re-Sovietise the region,” the US secretary of state told a news conference in Dublin hours before going into a meeting with her Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov.

“It’s not going to be called that. It’s going to be called a customs union, it will be called Eurasian Union and all of that,” she said, referring to various iterations of a Moscow-backed plan to deepen economic ties with its neighbours.

“But let’s make no mistake about it. We know what the goal is and we are trying to figure out effective ways to slow down or prevent it.”

Oh sure, let’s make no mistake about it!

Is Mrs. Clinton concerned that the Russians will orchestrate something like NAFTA or the Free Trade Area of the Americas or the Trans-Pacific Partnership?

Is she afraid that the state will again own factories that produce junk automobiles?

Perhaps Clinton is worried that prisoners, languishing in neo-Soviet gulags, will be used for slave labor in the state’s war industries. And these war industries would support a vast network of military bases all over the world

If I keep going, I’m definitely going to ruin my coffee high. Maybe someone else wants to take a stab at it.

These people, the Bushes and Clintons and others like them, make being American embarrassing. I don’t travel overseas anymore. If I did, I would have to claim to be Canadian.

  2. It is so absurd I don’t know how people don’t throw a pie in the face of Hitlary every time they see her.

So by her own logic, if the Eurasian Union is the Soviet-ization of the world, than NAFTA, TPP and everything else are the Ameri-fascistan-ization of the world.

Not that Putin is a good guy, I’m just saying. It’s a lose-lose situation.

In the long view, I see it as the leading edge of a fresh process of western “enemy building”, using the most obvious eastern targets.

Divide & conquer for ever and ever.

Now that the global war on “terror” has been successfully leveraged against the mass mind to justify the build-out of the panopticon, it’s time to erect a fresh golem in the east to rationalize the upcoming round of base building and hardware development that’ll keep the owners’ business interests humming along.

Of course, the irony of statement’s like these are utterly invisible to the performers and puppets in the realm truthspeak.

They know the credulous will hoover it all up and act upon the words with their favorite engrained prejudices.

Anyone armed with enough horsepower and sense to see her words for what they truly are doesn’t have enough traction to make a real difference anyway.

In other words, there’s really no point in pointing out the BS, except for our own individual entertaiment and a certain sense of superiority, is there?

You left out sanity. I need that more than entertainment and superiority. I know what you’re saying though…. change is hopeless now.

Russia TV (RT) is doing the West huge harm in the propaganda wars.

It is the 2nd most watched foreign TV outlet in the U.S. and In Canada it is number one.

Earlier this year, Hillary Clinton stated that the U.S. is losing the propaganda war.

    Calm

For some reason, reading this, the following scene from Pulp Fiction came to mind:
But I saw some shit this morning made me think twice. Now I’m thinkin’, it could mean you’re the evil man. And I’m the righteous man. And Mr. 45 here, he’s the shepherd protecting my righteous ass in the valley of darkness. Or it could be that you’re the righteous man and I’m the shepherd and that it’s the world that’s evil and selfish. I’d like that. But that shit ain’t the truth. The truth is, You’re The Weak. And I’m the tyranny of evil men. But I’m tryin’, Ringo. I’m tryin’ real hard to be the shepherd.

been thinking for some time what would happen if the “war on terror” wasn’t selling as well as the previous iteration. maybe this is a sign there is some will to return to the east vs. west brand cold war? or why not both!

I prefer to say I’m from a town about 200k from Vancouver, BC and leave it at that, eh.
