U.S. Astronaut, Edgar Mitchell: Aliens Exist, “It’s Been Well Covered Up by All Our Governments”

July 24th, 2008

I make a point of NOT covering the UFO stuff on Cryptogon, but this is VERY remarkable story. Edgar Mitchell not only walked on the moon, he has a PhD (technically, a Doctor of Science) in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT. In other words, this is not your typical speaker at some weekend UFO symposium.

Why is he talking about aliens now?

At first, you might think something like, “In their twilight years, some people like to unburden their souls.”

But think about that a bit more. Think about it from the perspective of a government that had information related to alien lifeforms, and all the rest of the X-Files type stuff, but wanted to keep it a secret.

Years ago, I was trying to understand how so much stuff stays secret. I tried to think about what it would take for me to be able to keep my mouth shut if I was exposed to some kind of astonishing information.

So, what would be the most difficult secret for me to keep?

Aliens. Yep, that would be a hard one for me to keep quiet about.

So, I put myself in an imaginary role as an employee on sublevel 23 at Area-51, or something appropriately weird sounding like that, where I saw and worked with ________ fill in the blank with some unthinkable alien technology…

Now, how would I punch the time clock at 5pm, board the 737 for the short trip back to the “Gold Coast” terminal at McCarran Airport in Las Vegas and just forget about what I’d seen all day? Maybe buy some Chinese take-out and then, what do Area 51 employees do on their down time?, watch TV, play video games, whatever… What would matter most of all, though, is that I’d never be able to tell anyone about what I did, especially my own family. Then, I’d be expected to grow old and die knowing about that stuff without ever saying or writing anything about it in public.

What would keep my gums from flapping?

The threat of jailtime for breaking the secrecy oaths that these people are bound by?

No. Because I’d wait until I was old and close enough to checking out that I didn’t care anymore. That’s when I’d write it down and upload it to the intertubes where it would languish for eternity on the tinfoil sites and other backwaters. (Yes, I’ve read The Day After Roswell by Philip Corso, and I’m not sure what to make of that book.)

Patriotism? Forget that. We’re talking about aliens here. Nobody working with alien stuff is going to be able to internalize any bullshit about patriotism. There would be, I think, an uncontrollable urge to spill the beans, somehow, at some point.

Maybe I wouldn’t even know what I was dealing with because of compartmentalization? Obviously, compartmentalization must be employed in these settings, probably to the point of absurdity. But no, for this exercise, I have all access clearance. There’s no doubt in my mind about what “this” is.

I would imagine that at some level of classification, the people involved with the work are told something like, “If you ever reveal this information, even from beyond the grave, in the form of a book or other material, we’ll kill your family, your children and their children and your dog. Nothing personal, but that’s what will happen.”

Anyway, that was my guess about how governments keep the serious family jewels secret.

Now, if someone actually had privileged government information about aliens, do you really think that they’d just casually let that slip into public discourse? I tend to think not. Not if the person was the real deal, which Edgar Mitchell obviously is. I’d tend to think that guys like him would have some sort of threat hanging over their heads that would keep their lips well and truly sealed for the duration.

Which leads me to wonder if, somehow, at some level, Mitchell’s disclosure could have been officially sanctioned?

For what purpose? Who knows…

Via: Telegraph:

Dr Edgar Mitchell, said he was aware of several UFO visits during his career, but each one had been covered up.

The 77-year-old, who was a crew member of the Apollo 14 mission, said sources at the space agency had described aliens as resembling “little people who look strange to us”.

Dr Mitchell told Kerrang! Radio that human technology was “not nearly as sophisticated” as theirs and had they been hostile, he warned: “We would be been gone by now”.

He said: “There’s not much question at all that there’s life throughout the universe, we are not alone at all. I’m most assured about that.

“Have we been able to identify where the other planets are? No, certainly not in our Solar System but we have been able to identify quite a number of planets that could be life bearing planets.

“I happen to have been privileged enough to be in on the fact that we’ve been visited on this planet and the UFO phenomena is real.

“It’s been well covered up by all our governments for the last 60 years or so, but slowly it’s leaked out and some of us have been privileged to have been briefed on some of it.

“I’ve been in military and intelligence circles, who know that beneath the surface of what has been public knowledge, yes – we have been visited.

“Reading the papers recently, it’s been happening quite a bit.”

Dr Mitchell, along with Apollo 14 Commander Alan Shepard, still holds the record for the longest ever moonwalking session at nine hours and 17 minutes following their 1971 mission.

Officials from NASA, were quick to play the comments down.

In a statement, a spokesman said: “NASA does not track UFOs. NASA is not involved in any sort of cover up about alien life on this planet or anywhere in the universe.

“Dr Mitchell is a great American, but we do not share his opinions on this issue.”

This one looks good to me, too, also because of this guy’s credentials. I’m generally very skeptical about the aliens thing, not because it’s not reasonable for there to be aliens (i.e., ETs), but because there are so many patently phony people claiming pretty much everything one can conceive about aliens — all without having to prove a single thing.
My take on why he would wait so long: pretty much the same as yours, except I’d add that, without a shred of proof, you’re just adding yourself to the list of “nuts” when you come out with this stuff, so the gov’t isn’t too worried about it.
As for it being officially sanctioned, why not? Again, he has nothing with which he can prove his assertions, and it’s a good distraction from a ton of nasty crap that we REALLY know is REALLY going on. And our rulers love to keep us distracted.

  2. thucydides says:

    ….

that, or this is a shot over the bow, prior to (somebody’s) release of more definitive or damning evidence.

who knows? maybe the E.T. stuff is the last wedge-stop the gov’t can pull out to stave off bankruptcy. “look what we have! it’s worth lots of money!” 🙂

  3. scarletfire says:

Who wrote that ufo’s would be the next step of population control after terrorism? Cooper maybe? The increase in main stream press of ufo’s is notiable, what are they prepping us for this time?
While life other than us in the universe seams a given considering it’s size I’ve always been pretty skeptical, only thing that gives me some pause is my dad, who once worked in radar for the airforce in Korea believes. He said he saw stuff on radar that couldn’t be expained otherwise, plus his commander took all records and told him he never saw it. Hell who knows? sorry for the long post….

  4. Aaron says:

“I make a point of NOT covering the UFO stuff on Cryptogon,”

There’s your answer right there Kevin, you/we can’t mention UFO’s without at least providing a caveat because “everyone knows UFO’s don’t exist” and so only a madman will talk about it.

I was doing an interview with the editor of Uncensored Magazine (Jon Eisen) on radio a few years back, I think we were talking about GE but he happened to mention UFOs and it left me in a real quandry because I knew he had just shot his credibility to pieces as far as the audience were concerned. I made him discuss the issue of how could he dare to research such a subject and he basically said ‘What sort of jounalist would I be if I wasn’t prepared to investigate this stuff?” essentially letting a kind of prejudice determine what he chose to look at was not what he wanted.

And he is despised by sensible journalists throughout the country – he went on Eating Media Lunch and they absolutely destroyed him – editing the program to make him look very bad. Eating Media Lunch kind of pushes the boundaries with it’s politics so I should think they used the interview to re-establish their credibility with the mainstream.

Jon did tell me though about a thing called the Disclosure Project where a bunch of scientists and astronauts ‘came out’ about Aliens at a huge press conference specially organised for the purpose. The idea was that if they all did it at once it they would be more untouchable and also credible. Anyway, loads of journalists from around the US turned up and at the end of it all there was only ONE article (buried in the middle of the paper) published anywhere in the entire US – because their editors weren’t prepared to damage their credibility.

Similar thing, a journalist from 60 minutes Mexico who had done a story about UFO’s came to New Zealand and wanted to visit the 60 minutes crew here. He went to the building but the NZ journos refused to even come downstairs to reception to talk to him.

THEY don’t need to use force when there are much better options for cover up, like the ability to destroy a person’s credibility. Just like Doctors, journalists know that if they step out of bounds it’ll be the end of their career, they’ll lose thir job and they’ll also lose their (so-called) friends in the industry.

  5. tsoldrin says:

It seems noteworthy that all his knowledge appears to be second hand, and he isn’t saying he’s actually seen any of this himself. i.e. sources, briefings and meetings of military and intelligence circles.

The term “little people” imo is a dead giveaway that something is fishy. Think about how exotic animals from Australia and New Zealand are in appearance to people from elsewhere… and those creatures are still from our same planet! What sort of astronomical odds would have to be involved for that to happen?
    – Life itself has to evolve
    – Become intelligent
    – Become able to travel the stars
    – Are able to actually find us in our backwoods of the galaxy among 400 billion other stars
    – Do all this in the time window when both our civilizations actually exist
    – Is somehow, with endless other possibilities, not just recognizable as life as we know it but remarkably similar to us in appearance.
Wait, what!? Certainly some forms are excellent at their particular niches and we see them pan species… the wolf, shark and rat forms for example. The human(oid) form though? Evolutionarilly speaking, our form stinks. Only our brain keeps us competative.

As for why they’d do it… probably too many sightings of new military aircraft have been cropping up and will be increasing as those aircraft are employed in coming world wide warfare. I look back at the space ship like secret aircraft that we know about – most of which was created before I was born – and wonder what the blazes crazy stuff they’ve got now that’s been kept secret, and my mind boggles.

  6. eyelight says:

He’s telling this to “Kerrang! Radio” !!! ?

  7. Dennis says:

    Haven’t posted for awhile.

It’s a long story, and I’m not keen to go into it right now but it’s been my growing belief, for over 15 years, that this is likely to end up being the ultimate deception, the social engineering project that will work at a scale and intensity that will make ‘The War on Terror’ and ‘Global Warming’ look like shows by kid’s party magicians.

  8. Eileen says:

    Wow,wow,wow.
Thank you Kevin for posting this article. I almost peed my pants to see it here. Proves to me (as if I needed confirmation – but it provided double plus good confirmation) that you have a very open being and don’t censor yourself when it comes to providing to this site what you think is newsworthy! THANK YOU!!!!!!
I’ve got the book stashed at Mom’s re Roswell, purchased in the Los Alamos bookstore, published by a former General. Yep. All credentials seem to go doo-doo when one starts talking about believing in aliens.
Why? I think because that the word ALIEN is the one thing that SCARES THE LIVING SHIT OUT OF THE ILLUMANTI, the Mazaratti, Mafaratti, and whatever elster gangsters think that they are in control.
    SNORT.
You think that presence from another place in time that comes to visit our blue marble gives a SHIT about who thinks they have control of this place?
I think this is beautiful timing by Edgar Mitchell. Absolutely beautiful.
Our “Rulers” are drunk to hell on themselves. Imagine the DISTRACTION to the credibe IDEA that another REALITY than the one we’ve been trained to believe in the reality cage we exist in together, exists.
Imagine the Shrub puking his guts out from his latest binge when the “Alien” presence is confirmed.
I for one don’t think there is a maelific force in the universe that wants to blow up the world we live in.
I think we need a MAJOR BREATH OF FRESH THINKING ON THIS PLANET.
SOMETHING. ANYTHING. TO RESTORE OUR SENSE OF WONDER. GET OFF OF OUR SELVES AND ONTO SOMETHING BIGGER.
Oh yes. we do, do, do.
I’ve seen lights in the sky oh yes.
I have no doubts that there is great interest in this blue marble we live on.
    Not to harm us.
I think people on this planet have been trained to pray to a god “up there.”
Can you imagine the distress signals coming from our planet?????????????????
While they may manifest as little people, well sheesh. At least they are trying to answer ALL OF THOSE DISTRESSSSSS Signals coming from this planet.
I Say AMEN!! And Verily, WELCOME! HELP!
And as SPock would say: GREETINGS ALIEN!!!

  9. Jack-Booted EULA says:

So either these aliens can do faster-than-light travel and Einstein was an idiot, or they live a really long time and are not bored easily?

    or they’re Martians…

    :o)

  10. Eileen says:

Mind you, imagination my be in front of all.

  11. Angelo says:

Its remarkable how little these issues are discussed yet equally remarkable how engaged people become once immersed in them. I once ran an underground cinema in the city near where I live, it very quickly became a meeting place where the undercurrents of life could find expression. I was fond of touching on the extraterrestrial issue because it challenged people and it was familiar ground to me. I found that when screening films of this nature the theater was always packed, there was indeed a strong intuitive knowing that these issues are real and that they affect us.

I’ve researched this field and have had very inexplicable experiences and gained tremendous insight into the reality of the situation, the Context as I like to call it.

Let me break this issue down to the nuts and bolts and we’ll see how many people will believe. There is an enormous divide between the perceptual locust of a small group of human beings and the vast majority of human beings. – The government has been in covert affiliation with ‘hooked nose’ Semitic aliens since the forties, this group of beings exist within a narrow social structure consisting of commercial interests. In short they are resource extractors. The all too popular greys are their drones, field workers if you will.

The hub which is earth is found within a commercial corridor and is highly valued for its biological richness, thus dozens of species come and go for intergalactic trade, all of which interface with black op Intel screens that are attempting to keep tabs on all activity. There are aliens living among us as we speak, they look like terrestrials but there are slight variations in their appearance which can be recognized by perceptive individuals.

The secrecy surrounding these issues stems from a covert biological trading program that was initiated in the early forties, though this cloak of secrecy intensified as conflicts broke out between human and alien, alien and alien and between intelligence groups. World War 2 was partly the result of this conflict between alien races. The Germans had been in communication with extraterrestrials since the 20’s ostensibly and were developing rapidly an infrastructure of global dominance. World War 2 levelled the playing field for a time and served all commercial interests involved.

The cloak which surrounds us now is almost all encompassing. The planet mars is inhabited and always has been – satellite images of all planetary surfaces, including earth, have been doctored since their release. Venus has a liveable atmosphere and is not a ball of fire, hence the truth to many Venusian cults in the fifties and sixties. Though contacts with what may be called neutral or positively oriented extraterrestrials slowed as the gridwork lockdown imposed by the Russian and American interests at the behest of alien forces was initiated and implemented. The Stars Wars program as with the NASA space program were all cardboard cut-outs to distract from the real events taking place.

    Hence Edgar Mitchell.

He has known what’s been going on for a long time now. He has surely interfaced with extraterrestrials and knows that rocket propelled flying ships are a joke. He along with other astronauts have been very severely ‘compromised’. NASA facilities have been documented arenas of mind control experimentation since their construction, as too are many military communications and ‘radar’ sites.

The controlled media leaks which are beginning to resemble a small flood if you’ve noticed are a timeline based disclosure. This disclosure however is a dramatic enactment, a movie played real time where good guy and bad guy will be clearly defined and 90% of the truth will remain obscured or hidden from the populace.

The connection of this extraterrestrial presence and the economic situation of today are intimately linked. The entire global economic downturn was an engineered development that was decided upon ultimately in the seventies. The full throttle distortion of anything resembling healthy economics went out the window in the eighties as the rape and pillage mentality set in for those in the know. Through excessive debt creation the population of the world would be bound to commercial interest, an economic breakdown would initiate global programs of debt relief under the guise of new currencies based ultimately upon non tangible economic value such as ‘carbon taxes’, ‘world land reserve funds’, etc. The goal is to commodify the commons and separate human freedom from access to natural resources which have all been claimed by extraterrestrial prospectors. Debt relief will be the release valve for the growing anger and angst of the world’s population, but it will also be the poison pill.

Why a controlled disclosure now? Because of the necessity of global communications for global commerce something called the internet invariably rooted itself in the everyday of the population. This medium was not supposed to be as open source as its become, it got a little out of control if you will, though that’s being worked upon just now. The internet has allowed the free flow of information pertaining to ‘free energy’ systems to such a degree that we are at a flash point in human history. The wide scale eruption of small scale free energy is a nanometre away. In order to maintain control of the world economic system the release of exotic ideas related to exotic technologies and exotic beings will be used to cover over the real human based groundswell of home-grown solutions. As with the command from the top to pillage the economy so too was the command given to pillage the environment such that corporate fronts like the WWF and Sierra Club would become powerful interests and foundation builders for the new ‘enlightened’ social model.

The cornerstone of this new social order is the revelation of exotic ideas, exotic technologies and exotic beings in order to distract a new generation that is very intuitively attenuated towards technological advancement and ‘change based’ thinking. Change is the catchphrase of the new world order in the beginning of the 21st century.

This order has always been here, they have been bred for leadership and they know who they work for, and it’s not for human wellbeing, that I know.

A quick but not too short a summary that leaves out far too many details.

If you wish for good direction start with Mr.John Lear and his interview with Project Camelot. John Lear, of Lear Jet, is a lifetime aviation expert with a story to tell. As an aside – John Lear states that the events of 9-11 were staged using holographic technology, the same technology that will be used in the very near future for a rapture performance. If you will, look very closely at the best footage of the planes hitting the buildings, they melt into the structure as the explosive charges are activated. If the hologram argument is true, and I know it is, then how far advanced is the technology used by intelligence compared to commercially available goods.

Search ‘John Lear’ and ‘abovetopsecret’ for the hologram story. Search ‘the intervention extraterrestrial’ for more on the program of human/alien integration.

    Cheers,

    @Angelo:

Well, I can only speak for myself, but if a flying saucer touched down on the lawn of the White House and some being, regardless of what it looked like, came out of it and extended whatever on its body served as a hand and said, “We are your friends and we want to help you,” I’d be all, “Yeah, sure you are. Sure you do.” The whole UFO thing is by no means a significant component of my worldview, but too many fringe-sources that talk about aliens have said, “When they land and declare their benevolent intentions, do not trust them!!” Besides, it’s not exactly unusual for would-be conquerers to arrive claiming to be your friends.

I can’t help but wonder why they would want to simulate a “Rapture” type event. That would only serve to make it appear that the Fundamentalist Xtians are “right” (I couldn’t stomach being one of those psychotic fascist freaks even if their worldview was somehow demonstrably “right”, so I guess I’d better get me an asbestos suit for the hereafter if they are), and putting those whackjobs in power could only serve to much further destabilize the world situation. Is that what they want, assuming this is all true, to breed so much chaos that they can just step in and take over governance of the planet directly without having to use “messier” means?

  13. pookie says:

Dennis, consider that certain factions may wish to use the fact of alien contact as a means to further their social engineering projects. Read this fascinating 2002 essay by Catherine Austin Fitts, a former Asst Secretary of Housing in the first Bush administration. She’s a smart woman of great integrity:

    http://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/HL0209/S00126.htm

  14. smarks says:

FEAR, DISTRACTION, DIVERSION, This is just a small seed recently planted. Where it will grow will be made known by subsequent revelation, IF THERE IS ANY.

If there is not no big deal, if more “evidence” however questionable comes out, think Fear, Disarray, Military, Police, Uprising not on just a national scale but a global scale.

Yeah I do have an open mind, but have not had any paranormal or extraterrestrial experiences besides a little déjà-vu.

The greatest threat in this is not the possibility of what might happen if there are these beings, but what can be done if the masses are made to believe that these “little people” exist and that maybe they have death rays.

Yeah the Iran threat is running out of steam and Bushco may already have agreements ready to sign. What better way to extend emergency Executive authority that to have a little threat from INTERGALACTIC TERRORISTS who want to wipe out the INFIDELS ON EARTH.

    OMG What a hoot!

Yeah maybe that’s why Bill Gates and others built that Seed Vault, yeah, you aliens just try picking the lock that we put on that door!

It is all about fear and diversion.

    Respectfully,
    Steve

  15. Dennis says:

    Loveandlight,

Perhaps it’s not a staged event. Perhaps it’s real and has to be explained away.

There are many who are not Christian, such as those who believe the doctrines of the Theosophical Society and those whose beliefs have their origins in their teachings, that also believe in a future rapture-type event though from their perspective this departure is most often portrayed not as a promotion for those who depart but as a demotion, a sort of house-cleaning to get rid of earth’s spiritual undesirables in order to leave the planet ready for the energy of the Christ consciousness.

    This may interest you:

    http://www.redmoonrising.com/newage.htm

Warning: I suspect the writer has fundamentalist views-you might want to skip the top paragraph.

As for me, I don’t believe right and wrong is about what we think about reality but about what we love.

  16. Dennis says:

Thanks, Pookie. Interesting and surprising. I’ve read quite a bit of Catherine Austin Fitts’ stuff after getting turned onto her through Mike Ruppert’s book “Crossing the Rubicon” but wasn’t aware of anything on this topic.

Though I haven’t come to an absolute conclusion about this topic I can see I may have to explain a 4th ‘probability scenario’, one that has pieces of #3 floating like a skin on the surface of its ancient depths. This is something I was not eager to do because of the tendency of this subject matter to draw out the loons (perhaps some will consider I am one), the perhaps excessive demands it will make on some to consider a worldview that may be very difficult to grasp, the likelihood some will have knee-jerk reactions due to certain of my sources, the fact that I rarely discuss this with anyone and lastly that it will take some time to put this all down.

I’ll begin with a quote from Rupert Sheldrake’s book ‘Chaos, Creativity, and Cosmic Consciousness’:
“The guiding spirit of modern science, according to the Faust myth, is a satanic demon…How seriously do we need to take the idea that our whole society and civilization is under the possession of such a spirit, worshiped through money and power? How much are fallen angels actually guiding and perverting the progress of science and technology? Is a great war between the good and evil angels being acted out on Earth? We hardly know how to think or talk about such possibilities since they are so alien to the official, standard models of Western history.”

If you’re still here after that, thank you. For those who balked at the mention of angels, fallen and otherwise, and the suggestion of a Christian worldview lurking in the background I would like to say that as much as or more than you resent people who haven’t done the research and never question what George Carlin called ‘received reality’ disparaging your beliefs, discarding them on the basis they are mere tinfoil-hat conspiracy theories, so do I resent the Christian worldview being denigrated by those whose judgments of it are based not on knowledge of it but on the pathological behaviour, hypocrisy and identity-confusion of those who promote themselves under its banner, most notoriously, in recent history, those of America’s religious Right.

OK. I’m going to throw some stuff out.

When I was about 10 years old our family was heading home from a beach in New Zealand called Piha. It was dusk. We spotted two bright red lights diagonal to each other seemingly flying about 10 degrees above the hilltop horizon a few miles distant. They looked a bit like emergency flares but were moving horizontally in formation. The bottom light suddenly dropped toward then below the horizon at an angle. As it disappeared the top light shot off and then disappeared. Discussion of this event with family friends brought up the name Bruce Cathie, an Air New Zealand pilot who’d written a book about UFOs based around his claims that sightings were far more likely in certain locations and on the lines that connected these points. So began my interest in UFOs. I attended one of his talks and started to read what I could about the subject, from stuff about Project Blue Book to Von Daniken and beyond.

Some of you may remember Whitley Strieber’s book ‘Communion’. I never read any of his stuff but if I’m correct the first book was about the mysterious wonder of alien life attempting to communicate with us. By the third book his tune had changed. He came to believe part of the fascination these creatures had with humans was to do with our free will, something many of them did not possess, and that their origin was not so much extra-terrestrial as extra-dimensional. Strieber also began to believe many were malevolent. Fact or fiction? I don’t know.

In the late 80s I travelled through Italy, France, England, the former Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Tunisia and Switzerland and would always check out the TV as part of my cultural education. During this time it was like there was some kind of UFO propaganda rollout. It seemed as if every country I visited had a heavily advertised TV special on UFOs. Coincidence? Could be.

Many years later I was living in Los Angeles. I met a woman who had previously been heavily involved in the occult as a medium. Extricating herself from her earlier life had been very difficult for her and she was not comfortable talking about anything to do with that period so she declined to answer when I asked her why these spirits she considered evil were so interested in human interaction. I prayed about it that night and the answer I got surprised me: Strategy: They cannot easily affect things in this world except through the minds of those with, and through the use of, physical bodies. Spite: By hurting human beings they indirectly strike at God who loves those human beings. Self-aggrandizement: Accessing the nature of a human being is an expansive experience for them. Because we are in the image of God, albeit fallen & relatively crippled, we are actually higher beings than they are. We are creative, imaginative and have a will. For them it’s like going from black and white to colour, from a bicycle to a Ferrari. Am I a religious nut? Better opportunity to decide after the next paragraph.

I first read the Bible around the time I was 14. I became a Christian at 17. For those who are interested let me say I do not believe the heavens and the earth and life were formed in increments of 24 hours, partly because it seems apparent to me that the Bible does not support such a view. There is much I do not understand in the Bible but much I now comprehend that earlier seemed incomprehensible. About 17 years ago some of the things I had read, some of the lose ends in my quest for truth, felt as if they were beginning to fall into place, to lock together in a way that began to seem logical. In the Bible it talks about (amongst many other things, obviously)

    1. A powerful fallen angel that will deceive the kings of the world at the end of this world’s age (or ‘social order’) in order to accomplish a plan that will result in the establishment of an earthly kingdom that will initially seem beneficient. (By the way, I assume the article on solar that follows this UFO one is talking about part of the Club of Rome’s proposed DESERTEC power grid. This intrigues me as it is the first indication I have seen of a plan to incorporate all of the old kingdoms of the prophecies of Daniel. In Bible prophecy this is one of the defining characteristics of the final earthly kingdom of Daniel.)

    2. A great deception, so great that those that shouldn’t be taken in by it will be, if but for a time. A deception that will operate at many levels.

    3. The performance of deceptive signs and wonders, some ‘heavenly’, i.e. occurring in the skies, by a man who will be the agent of the above-mentioned fallen angel.

    4. The recurrence of events similar to those that occurred in the time prior to Noah’s flood.

The first three of these are supposed to occur within a period of seven years. All four occur within a maximum period of about a hundred and twenty years, the upper limits of a human lifetime.

Going back to the Old Testament we find that in Noah’s time one of the things that had happened was a particular class of fallen angel had ‘descended’ and interacted with human women to produce the Nephilim, the ‘Fallen’, sometimes translated ‘Great Ones’, ‘Giants’, ‘Tyrants’, progeny capable of superhuman feats. This is discussed in more detail in the Book of Enoch, a book quoted in the New Testament (but later removed from the Canon), which describes these entities as ‘The Watchers’ and relates that they also instructed humanity in advanced technologies. An even more obscure text, also referred to in the Bible, says these ‘fallen ones’ taught the mixing of different animal species. The myths and legends of cultures around the planet echo these ideas. So do modern times:

Yeah, I know this sounds very weird. That’s why I don’t discuss it much.

Of course, if you dispense with the spiritual angle you might argue that these stories were about extraterrestrial aliens from the beginning. But then the question is ‘What have they been up to all this time?’

OK, I think I’ve said enough. You piece it together. Kevin will probably ban me as it is.

    Loveandlight…

That should read “‘Christ’ consciousness” ’cause I don’t think that’s what it will be.

These entities work through proxy, they subsist on populations that are steeped in superstitious belief. What has been created through careful planning is an elaborate structure of systemic superstition. The ‘Christian fundamentalists’ have been indoctrinated with such a blind fury for all that is outside their conceived worldview that they only help to serve as literal soldiers in the destruction and disintegration of any real attempt at social unity amongst the different cultural perspectives. The Rapture event will be as an unleashing of the wildest retribution fantasies of those being told and guided that they are the new Chosen. The idea of a Chosen Peoples is the most destructive element(al) walking the planet, it hears nothing but its own disturbed mantra. It’s a sickness that infects more deeply as the power it holds intensifies.

Alternatively, it is the superstitiousness of science and the distorted image people hold of a historic, technological progress that has proved our greatest weakness as an emerging technological society. The Interventionists and Resource Guilds have used our fascination with trinkets to hide from us the very real situation.

We have a difficult road of trickery and deception ahead of us.

wonderful topic -for here, at least. kind of an ‘mental icebreaker’ of a sort, but that’s of course the least of it. anyway, thank you for posting it. took gumption.

my own worldview on our origin and history is entheogenic. we’re politically up against the fulmination mckenna’s (and riane eisler’s) alcohol feuled dominator culture, et al.

mckenna’s belief is there’s ‘imported’ intelligence in mushrooms, that certain spores aren’t necessarily originally terrestial, but rather rode in on meteorites. and so on.

all that aside, there’s more to space than just space; there’s other dimensions as well.

brian josephson’s work was partly what i used to base such fiction on; “josephson junctions”…
    and so on.

bottom line is we’ll never know what we don’t know. or what else is a heaven for. may our reach always exceed our grasp…

    and so on.

just remember, conventional reality is after all merely a convention.

    addendum:
in 1978 i took noam chomsky’s transformative-generative grammar course. the contrast itself, between his and conventional grammar, taught me beaucoup about the essence of grammar. such triangulation, via contrasts, has been something i sought ever since. in everything.

First of all, while a Chrihtian I don’t believe in the American Fundamentalist “Rapture”. I believe when Christ returns, that will immediately herald Judgment Day, so I am postmillennial or amillennial in that regard.

Secondly, the aliens thing is nothing more to me than fallen angels. Any disclosures about it now are almost certainly part of the project hinted at by old President Ray-gun. He was never done HAARPing on about the ET threat, and with good reason. It would be a very good planet-wide unifying force if they could pull it off convincingly.

The bottom line is they want a one world superstate, with the few left from the coming grand cull tagged and chipped like animals. We all know that anyway, but it’s HOW they get to that stage that is of interest.

I’m no longer too concerned about the one world religion they are meant to have in store; the devil knows that all who are not Christ’s are his anyway, so for me it’s a bit of red herring looking for it. Maybe, when the time is right, he’ll pull out the stops and do a “Project Blue Beam” stunt to unify the world’s religions. Those who know Christ won’t fall for it, but many (or most) who profess to know Christ will. All I’ll say is that if you’re relying on anything you’ve done for your own salvation – and I include raising the hand at a “gospel service” – you’re every bit as much a man-centric religionist as the Hindu who jumps in the river and expects it to clean his sins away. Instead, you should be looking to see if God has changed your heart and given you a selfles love for Him and your fellow man. Nothing short of that should give you peace in your soul, no matter how long you think you’ve been saved.
