Within the next generation I believe that the world’s rulers will discover that infant conditioning and narco-hypnosis are more efficient, as instruments of government, than clubs and prisons, and that the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging and kicking them into obedience. In other words, I feel that the nightmare of Nineteen Eighty-Four is destined to modulate into the nightmare of a world having more resemblance to that which I imagined in Brave New World. The change will be brought about as a result of a felt need for increased efficiency. Meanwhile, of course, there may be a large scale biological and atomic war — in which case we shall have nightmares of other and scarcely imaginable kinds.
I just had to look up the entire letter. One key phrase: ” Thanks to the voluntary ignorance of our fathers, the advent of the ultimate revolution was delayed for five or six generations.” – This is something I find fascinating. FDR’s New Deal forestalled the ultimate revolution by exactly that, and WWII spent the pent-up energy in ways beneficial to the ruling elites. Do you think they realized they did not yet have the technology to put down a massive, possibly worldwide rebellion? Communism was THE biggest threat to their plutocratic vision, what better way to disrupt its progress than to start a worldwide conflagration? Today, however, I imagine our elites like their chances a lot better. In the US, they have prepared the battlefield to their advantage by passing totalitarian laws and making communism abhorrent to the vast majority. By all indications, it looks like we are entering Orwell’s Age of The Boot.

The following letter was received by the Lee Foundation for Nutritional Research, Milwaukee Wisconsin, on 2 October 1954, from a research chemist by the name of Charles Perkins. He writes:
“I have your letter of September 29 asking for further documentation regarding a statement made in my book, “The Truth about Water Fluoridation”, to the effect that the idea of water fluoridation was brought to England from Russia by the Russian Communist Kreminoff. In the 1930?s Hitler and the German Nazis envisioned a world to be dominated and controlled by a Nazi philosophy of pan-Germanism. The German chemists worked out a very ingenious and far-reaching plan of mass-control which was submitted to and adopted by the German General Staff. This plan was to control the population in any given area through mass medication of drinking water supplies. By this method they could control the population in whole areas, reduce population by water medication that would produce sterility in women, and so on. In this scheme of mass-control, sodium fluoride occupied a prominent place.
“Repeated doses of infinitesimal amounts of fluoride will in time reduce an individual’s power to resist domination, by slowly poisoning and narcotizing a certain area of the brain, thus making him submissive to the will of those who wish to govern him. [A convenient and cost-effective light lobotomy? — Ott].
“The real reason behind water fluoridation is not to benefit children’s teeth. If this were the real reason there are many ways in which it could be done that are much easier, cheaper, and far more effective. The real purpose behind water fluoridation is to reduce the resistance of the masses to domination and control and loss of liberty.”
“When the Nazis under Hitler decided to go to Poland, both the German General Staff and the Russian General Staff exchanged scientific and military ideas, plans, and personnel, and the scheme of mass control through water medication was seized upon by the Russian Communists because it fitted ideally into their plans to communize the world.”
“I was told of this entire scheme by a German chemist who was an official of the great I.G. Farben chemical industries and was also prominent in the Nazi movement at the time. I say this with all the earnestness and sincerity of a scientist who has spent nearly 20 years’ research into the chemistry, biochemistry, physiology and pathology of fluorine — any person who drinks artificially fluorinated water for a period of one year or more will never again be the same person mentally or physically.”

LW, I am not a fan of True Ott who is, at best, a careless researcher.
Neither am I a fan of fluoride in any form, having spent hours chasing down the fluoride Nazi connection with no success. Supposedly this was documented in Joseph Borkin’s I.G. Farben book which I bought & slogged through to the end only to later find it on the net. It’s a lousy book, don’t bother.

The fluoride story began 77 years ago. Interessen Gemeinschaft Farben (IG Farben), a German chemical manufacturing company, began borrowing from American banks in a concerted effort at building a huge cartel in 1924. Henry Ford and American Standard Oil Company merged their assets with IG Farben in 1928, and by the early 1930’s, more than one hundred American corporations were involved with IG Farben through subsidiaries and other interests maintained in Germany.
American IG Farben was a holding company which controlled IG Farben assets in America. The board of directors listed such men as Edsel Ford (President of Ford Motor Company), Charles E. Mitchell (President of the Rockefellers’ National City Bank of New York), Walter Teagle (President of Standard Oil, New York), and Paul Warberg (Chairman of the Federal Reserve) who was brother to Max Warberg. Max was the financier of the German War effort. Also on the board of directors was Herman Metz, a director of the Bank of Manhattan which was controlled by the Warbergs. Three other members on the board of directors for American IG Farben were convicted as German war criminals for their crimes against humanity.
In 1939, the world’s largest producer of sodium fluoride was American Aluminum Company (ALCOA). During the same year, ALCOA and the Dow Chemical Company transferred their technology to Germany. Eventually, such companies as Colgate, Dupont, Procter & Gamble (Crest toothpaste (PLEASE NOTE THE CONTENTS OF MOST TOOTHPASTE!!) and Kellogg, as well as many other American companies, signed cartel agreements with IG Farben which led to the formation of a very powerful lobby group.
It was also in 1939 that the myth associated with fluoride and its ability to prevent dental caries was born. Up until then, fluoride was nothing more than toxic waste associated with the manufacture of explosives and fertilizers, in addition to being a waste component associated with the making of atomic bombs. Proper disposal of the toxic waste was expensive and becoming a problem for the American Aluminum Manufacturing, Fertilizer and Weapons industry. Not surprisingly, it was ALCOA scientist, Gerald J. Cox who, after doing some studies on fluoridated rats, concluded that fluoride was good for preventing cavities in human teeth.
Prior to Gerald J. Cox’s determination, Trendley Dean, a Public Health Service scientist who was also the first director of the National Institute of Dental Research, had gone west to investigate a discovery that fluoride was causing tooth mottling. The person holding authority over the Public Health Service (PHS) was none other than Andrew Mellon who had founded and was the controlling shareholder of ALCOA. The mission Dean was sent on was to determine just how much fluoride could be absorbed by children’s teeth before they disintegrated.
Dean examined the water of 345 Texas communities where naturally occurring fluoridation from soil might be an issue. His studies concluded that though the teeth were mottled and brown, the incidence of cavities seemed to be less than in those not exposed to fluoride. With very little to back up his theories, ALCOA founder Andrew Mellon jumped at the opportunity to solve the fluoride waste problem created by the aluminum industry and make a tidy profit at the same time, by selling the waste to the US Government as beneficial for water treatment.

Though proponents of fluoridated drinking water have always dismissed these stories of German mind control attempts as trash, there are some interesting facts which support the notion that fluoride is useful in doing just that. Semap, one of the strongest anti-psychotic compounds presently known is a fluoride compound, and used in more than 25% of manufactured tranquilizers. In fact, there is a long list of pharmaceuticals that are fluorinated, many of them designed to control emotions such as the drugs Paxil, Prozac, and Haldol.
It would appear that wide spread water fluoridation in our country has accomplished the intended goals: to make us more docile and accepting of authority. In other words, we’ve been dumbed down. Fluoride is now our drug of choice.
