U.S. Navy Discharging 49 Sailors from Aircraft Carrier that ‘Buried Osama Bin Laden at Sea” for Using or Distributing Drugs

The U.S. Navy said on Thursday it was discharging 64 sailors, 49 of them from the aircraft carrier that buried Osama bin Laden at sea, for using or distributing drugs.
Most of the sailors, who were assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson, nuclear submarine USS San Francisco and a floating fueling dock, were caught using , possessing or selling the designer drug Spice, the Navy said.
Bin Laden was buried at sea from the Carl Vinson in May after the al Qaeda leader was killed in a raid by U.S. Navy Seals on his Pakistan hide-out.
The ship normally has 5,000 sailors on board during deployment and a spokesman for the Third Fleet, Capt. Greg Hicks, said it was unknown if any of the sailors facing discipline were involved in the bin Laden operation.
So that’s what was in the coffin. It’s like the rendition flights, but instead of N85VM you’ve got aircraft carriers and nuclear submarines. Now I’m waiting for the story about Air Force One being used for drug flights.

Would be interesting if there were a roster of names of these 49 discharged sailors so that we could read about all their suicides, accidents, and murders in the – what? weeks, months, years these folks are going to “be allowed” to live?
I believe they were discharged because they know something or saw something they aren’t to repeat.

This doesn’t pass the smell test with me, and my nose and all senses attached to it have been ultra sensitive to all of this BULLSHIT more recently, but longer than I even want to remember.
Can’t these morons devising the story of “how Osama was killed” come up with something better than this? Why ruin these sailors with lies and innuendo when they just happened to be there when the “story” was concocted about OBL’s death?

I’m not sure if you just made that up, but I think I’ll be using that phrase from now on. While loose lips may sink ships you can’t just sink an aircraft carrier the way you can “accidentally” crash a helicopter. I’ve often wondered if there was a way to track the “suicides” of people in these situations.
I almost forgot that the whole “burial at sea” story was presented as fact. Since the entire UBL/OBL story makes me laugh I checked Wikipedia and present for your amusement:
