Blackwater’s New Ethics Chief: John Ashcroft

May 4th, 2011

Via: Wired:

The consortium in charge of restructuring the world’s most infamous private security firm just added a new chief in charge of keeping the company on the straight and narrow. Yes, John Ashcroft, the former attorney general, is now an “independent director” of Xe Services, formerly known as Blackwater.

Ashcroft will head Xe’s new “subcommittee on governance,” its backers announced early Wednesday in a statement, an entity designed to “maximize governance, compliance and accountability” and “promote the highest degrees of ethics and professionalism within the private security industry.”

In other words, no more shooting civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan; no more signing for weapons its guards aren’t authorized to carry in warzones; no more impersonations of cartoon characters to acquire said weaponry; and no more ‘roids and coke on the job.

At the very least there is some humor in the universe these days, although this story takes the cake. Can’t wrap my head around this one yet. John Ashcroft hired to clean up Blackwater aka XE. Cough, cough, er, puke.
I remember when Ashcroft was running against Carnahan and there was a really nasty plane crash wherein someone (not Ashcroft) was suddenly out of the running for office. Oh and many of the voters “GOT THAT TOO” AND ELECTED CARNAHAN’S WIDOW INSTEAD. And then how the Dark Lord’s of the Bushitas shooed him in to cover for his SHAME at BEING A LOSER to a dead person. Kudos to the voters.
Wow, that’s some heavy Karma Ashcroft is towing in his wake. Maybe this is a good thing. Blackwater aka XE just added this ton of bricks of John Ashcroft karma to their own. Perhaps this will add to XE’s sinking stone and be the final weight that will add to the undoing of them in the universe. WE don’t need no killing machines subsized by the us taxpayer. We don’t need killing machines PERIOD. RIP XE. You didn’t deserve a life on this planet but somehow, you got one. Now go away. You don’t belong here anymore.
