Senators and TSA Defend “Love Pats” at Airports

It’s sexual assault. It’s state sponsored sexual assault. See: TSA – Sexual Assault.

“I’m wildly excited that I can walk through a machine instead of getting my dose of love pats,” Sen. McCaskill said.

And I’m wildly excited that this will end badly for all mid- and low-level suckers who got involved with it. Pity the top level will escape as always.

I’m sure insiders are/have been dumping stock already.

(ride the rollercoster upwards, bail out, confess)

If I have to fly, I will gladly take the free groping over the free potential increased risk of cancer from the X-Rays. My concern would be the TSA forcing everyone to do the X-Rays before flying because they don’t want the flak from the groping. I’m suspicious of the all the negative press the groping is receiving, as atrocious as it is.

Of course, what will they do if the next mind-controlled idiot terrorist detonates himself before he gets through the security checkpoint? Those lines back up to the point where you have several hundred people bunched together within a relatively small space. It’s not exactly a secure situation.

I’ll bet there are some TSA people that are thrilled that they don’t have to pat Sen. McCaskill down. Scary.

The Ron Paul video is all over about the TSA, but I didn’t know that Michael Chertoff, former and first TSA goon ordered these scanners even before the underwear attack! That Chertoff is behind these scanners, and that his name is being named, means to me that Chertoff really pissed in somebody’s Cheerios.
He’s on the menu to be eaten for lunch by the PTB.

I strongly suggest everyone refuse the body scanners. The “backscatter scanners” use x-rays. The newer “millimeter wave scanners” to EHF (Extremely High Frequency) radio waves. EHF is 30Ghz to 300Ghz. Frequncies in this range are known to cause all kinds of nasty things, including DNA bubbling and ripping. But hey, what’s a bit of DNA damage for the sake of security theater?

On my last recent trip, I refused the scanners on both flights. The first time, I was “randomly” selected. A white male American, business man, dressed in business casual, carrying a laptop in an expensive bag. An obvious threat, eh?

I simply said “I’d prefer not to go through the scanner.” The TSA agent was aware that they were suppose to encourage me to use the scanner. I was first told that it was perfectly safe. I explained what the machines did. They warned me that I would be searched.

In a past life, I had gone through law enforcement training, and did work in a jail. I had been taught how to do searches properly. The TSA agents doing patdown searches haven’t been taught how to do it properly. Not only with this search, but other TSA searches, they don’t search properly. It’s haphazard at best. They search areas, move onto other areas with no planning, and recheck areas, because they don’t work with a plan. That leads to “improper” searches, where people feel molested, because “private” areas are searched multiple times. It also allows for parts to be missed. On both of my last “hand” searches, they failed to check my calf and ankle areas. That’s a common location to carry a concealed or second small weapon.

So far, I haven’t seen any check the more detailed areas, such as the hair, behind the ears, etc. Women with long hair can carry something as large as a “Delta Dart” (the knife, not the aircraft) or “pocket pistol”.

The question becomes, should we be treated like inmates in a prison, just because we want to travel by air? The simple and only answer is “no”. I fly for business, as do many. I need to be in one city one day, and another the next. There’s no choice for alternative travel methods. There’s no other way be in New York on Monday, Los Angeles on Tuesday, and Chicago on Wednesday.

I’m very disappointed in “random” selection of those who need to be searched. A few years ago, I was traveling with my girlfriend’s daughter. Blonde haired, blue eyed 14 year old girl carrying a pillow (x-rayed), and a pink backpack (x-rayed) is not a security threat. Yet, she was selected for secondary searches, and I (dressed in a T-shirt and jeans) was ignored. I didn’t leave her side, as I don’t trust them to do “the right thing” without adult supervision. Sorry TSA kids, you need adult supervision.

These scanners could also be considered part of the whole kill-off scheme, because the x-rays will probably sterilize us.

  6. neural overload says:

the haphazardness can only be considered intentional.

any idiot can prepare and distribute a flow chart that not only shows them the methodology, but they can also explain that methodology to the recipient prior to the pat down.

this alone would cure 95% of the issue. it can only be seen to be abusive, and understood to be abusive by homesec, in order to show off and minimize any sort of suggestion of individual value and ability to do anything at all about it. i’ve no doubt this will be leveraged in the future to street corners.

hypothetical extension: if the ‘land’ the airport check points existed on were actually considered ‘constitution/bill of rights free’ zones under national security exemption policies, it would then be a very small step to include a ‘roving’ version of such an animal within 30 feet of any enforcement officer/vehicle.
