The film shows the process by which young men become psychologically engineered to kill or die on command. While the model used is the U.S. Marine Corps, it’s made clear that the modern techniques for creating soldiers are refined, dehumanizing and universal.

    A group of former US military brass is now complaining American potential recruits are “too fat to fight.” As a parent, I would encourage my children to bulk up on the burgers. I would rather have them die of weight-related complications that blown up by IED’s in Iraq and Afghanistan.
