Combat Air Patrols Over U.S. Will be Grounded on September 14th in Wake of Nuke Flap

September 6th, 2007

Via: CNN:

Lt. Col. Ed Thomas said that while the military does not publicly discuss nuclear weapons procedures, in this case the Air Force decided to acknowledge the incident in order to reassure the public.

“The public was never in any danger,” Thomas said. But officials also said the incident was a major breach of security rules surrounding nuclear weapons. One Air Force official said that he could not recall anything similar happening. The Air Force announced that all flights of fighters and bombers in the United States will be halted on Sept. 14 to allow for a review of procedures. –From Pentagon Correspondent Barbara Starr

the accidental nuke story has been troubling me… accidental = impossible. can’t figure out the AF’s angle on releasing this to the public.

haven’t been able to confirm the CAP story referenced above. The CNN site doesn’t mention a suspension of CAP.

disregard portion of previous – found the Starr mention. trying to find confirmation though.

I was following the thread on this story here today http://mparent7777-2.blogspot.com/2007/09/those-five-nukes-on-that-b-52-may-have.html.
Various agencies with authority over U.S. nukes follow different protocols – one by land, another by air. So flying nukes around is not unusual – “cept that they are NOT TO FLY OVER POPULATED AREAS.” That was the mistake here. I was told by someone who knows more about nukes than he should that nukes are always moving as part of some U.S. defense posture.
Voicing my fears re the upcoming stand-down, – unbelievable to me that I said them out loud – I was even more shocked that I was allowed to change my travel plans so that I would not be flying on the 14th. WTF? In truth, the fellows are probably really wanting a night away from home without me so’s to hit the nudie bars…!
Death comes to each of us in its own due time – but if you never hear from me again after next week – be assured – I did not commit suicide!

Am I reading something into this that isn’t there, or does the grounding of Combat Air Patrols on 9/14 strike anyone else as ominous? Perhaps a prearranged explanation for not responding to a terrorist attack they have planned for that date?

so we have talk of “bin Laden trades” on the stock market.

    http://www.tickerforum.org/cgi-ticker/akcs-www?post=4669

and it is the sixth anniversary of 9/11. and bin Laden just released a video for the first time in 3 years. and now we have Hayden coming out at The Ministry of Truth (in a military uniform?!) and saying Al Qaeda planning an attack.

and we have the nuke incident, complete with phony explanation. this is an email I got from a friend of a friend:

“What an outrageous crock of shit. Does anyone actually believe that 6 nuclear weapon armed cruise missiles were accidentally transported not as secure and sensitive military air cargo but as fused wing pylon armaments mounted on a single B52 flown from Minot ND (near the Canadian border) to Barkdale AFB near Shreveport La. It is inconceivable that this was a mistake. The Barkdale destination is a primary staging base for US logistics into the Persian Gulf.

The news release and bafflegab is likely an attempt to cover-up some other evidence that nuclear weapons are being assembled and readied in large numbers for forward distribution from Barkdale and similar staging locations to American and allied forces in the Persian Gulf. If so, this implies advanced readiness planning and almost immediate preparedness to implement a nuclear strike against Iran. This level of force commitment implies that diplomatic initiatives with Iran are not being seriously pursued by the United States.

There is absolutely no way that somebody just goofed and simply accidentally loaded fueled cruise missiles into wing pylons from the nuclear weapons box rather than from a completely different type of conventional cruise missile box. Anyone who believes you can whoops mistakenly load nuclear missiles as live armament on a B52 pylon is clueless about nuclear protocols.

The cruise missile type is indicated as ACM (Advanced Cruise Missile) and there are no non-nuclear versions of this particular missile. Each B52H can be armed with 6 ACM’s on each wing pylon and an additional 8 on an internal rotary launcher. The press release is probably covering-up evidence of delivery of nuclear cruise missiles to US, British and Israeli forces in the Middle East. This would not occur unless likelihood of war was close to definite.”

And we all know that for Cheney and the gang to get their desired war with Iran, they would need another deliberately-facilitated or false-flag attack. Something smells extremely fishy, here.
